Job Title: Account Executive, Group Sales

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive, Group Sales to join our team at Sharks Sports and Entertainment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating group ticket sales revenue by way of strategic sales efforts for the Sharks, Barracuda, and SAP Center Arena Events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use independent judgement and strategic thinking to maximize ticket revenue by way of new business and renewal efforts for the Sharks and Arena events, including group ticket packages, fan experiences, and hospitality spaces.
  • Maximize new business opportunities through aggressive personal prospecting and lead generation efforts.
  • Generate ticket sales revenue by way of new and existing theme nights and initiatives.
  • Meet and exceed required activity metrics, including outbound calls, client meetings, personal prospecting, and others as assigned.
  • Aggressively pursue up-sell and new business opportunities to generate premium suite rental revenue.
  • Handle in-bound sales calls from prospective and current ticket holders.
  • Work Sharks, Barracuda, and SAP Center Arena Events as assigned.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and utilize a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Communicate via phone and email with a variety of individuals.
  • Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead, and lift up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation.
  • Physically navigate stairs and catwalks at SSE facilities during normal work hours and events with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to work occasional extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays (all with advance notice).
  • May be required to travel to other company locations.
  • May be required to attend conferences, events, and training sessions within the Bay Area or other in- or out-of-state locations.
