As a pivotal role in our new store openings, the Retail Operations Leader plays a crucial part in driving the success of a CSC Generation location by motivating customers throughout their culinary experiences.

This position merges strategic business insight with operational proficiency to achieve retail and culinary performance objectives while cultivating a top-tier team.

The Retail Operations Leader exercises discretion in delegating responsibilities to staff and making employment decisions, holding accountability for meeting sales targets, overseeing store operations, and managing the performance of all team members.

The Retail Operations Leader reports directly to the District Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrates and guides employees to ensure exceptional customer service standards are upheld.
Creates a well-informed and capable workforce by directing training initiatives for all retail and culinary staff.

Models and ensures that all CSC Generation policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are effectively communicated, upheld, and consistently applied.

Oversees all aspects of store operations. Ensures that employees efficiently execute corporate strategies in a timely and resourceful manner. Appropriately delegates tasks and holds the team accountable.
Proactively assesses and manages staffing levels in accordance with retail and culinary demands and seasonal fluctuations.
Maintains an active performance development process, providing real-time coaching and performance evaluations to employees. Conducts formal performance assessments.
Identifies opportunities to boost overall sales. Challenges and motivates employees to achieve and implement sales-enhancing initiatives.
Analyzes and evaluates retail and culinary business trends. Develops and executes strategies to enhance sales, profitability, and culinary revenue.
Completes the store schedule, optimizing allocated hours to align with retail and culinary objectives.
Stays informed by maintaining product knowledge, accessing available training, and seeking additional resources as needed.

Ensures the accuracy and integrity of employee records, including Time and Attendance documentation and personal information.

Manages inventory, controls shrinkage, and oversees retail supply and culinary expenditures.
Collaborates effectively with the District Manager, HQ Retail Operations, Human Resources, and other departments as necessary.
Ensures compliance with applicable wage and hour regulations. Accurately records hours worked in accordance with company policy.
Exhibits exceptional verbal and written communication skills with employees, customers, field management, and corporate offices.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the District Manager or HQ.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with employees and customers.
Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, up to 3 hours at a time.

Ability to navigate the store, coaching and directing employees; engaging with customers and retrieving merchandise from stock or sales floor.

Ability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching to retrieve and restock merchandise.

Ability to work a flexible schedule to observe employees and customers at various times throughout the day, week, and year.

Ability to ascend and descend ladders to retrieve and/or move merchandise.
Ability to operate a computer, POS system, keyboards, merchandise scanners, and mouse to complete tasks.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Ability to lift and/or move merchandise weighing up to 35 lbs.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in retail management. Previous experience as a Store Manager is preferred.
Proven track record in driving sales and motivating high-performing sales teams.
Experience in training others and holding teams accountable.
Experience in leading and coaching diverse teams.
Demonstrated financial management capabilities.
Food Handler or Food Manager Certification is required.
Proficient in POS systems.
Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
