Job Title: Administrative Coordinator

At Takara Bio USA, Inc., we're seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating company and employee events, as well as providing administrative support to the HR department. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate company and employee events, including planning, execution, and follow-up.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, including personnel file management, record retention, and other HR-related tasks.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including preparing necessary documents and coordinating logistics.
  • Support expats on assignment from Japan, including providing administrative assistance and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Provide backup support to the Administrative Assistant role, as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 4 years' administrative experience in a related area or function.
  • Prior experience planning and executing special events is required.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor while handling pressure well and managing multiple tasks.
  • Requires strict confidentiality and care when dealing with or having access to sensitive employee information.
A Few Other Details:
  • This is a full-time, non-exempt position, Monday through Friday during standard business times. Flexibility to work overtime or non-standard hours may be required at times.

Additional Information about the role:

The US base hourly rate range for this full-time position, expected to be located in San Jose, CA, is $35.00 USD. This range may be modified at any time at our sole discretion.
