Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Municipal Golf Association. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Human Resources and Accounting departments, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a variety of administrative duties, including checking messages, maintaining records, and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Support the Human Resources Manager and Controller with tasks such as onboarding, terminations, and benefits administration.
  • Assist with bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and monthly closings.
  • Compile and maintain personnel records, and complete routine data entry.
  • Compose and type routine correspondence, and make copies and scans as needed.
  • Organize and maintain file systems, and manage office supplies.
  • Provide excellent customer service, and contribute to a positive team environment.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in Human Resources or Accounting.
  • Knowledge of HR and Accounting principles and procedures.
  • Discretion, confidentiality, and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and typing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
