Position Overview:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a crucial role in aligning organizational goals with the workforce in specific business sectors. This position is instrumental in creating partnerships across the HR domain to provide valuable services to both management and employees, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. The HRBP is expected to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business unit's financial health, strategic plans, cultural dynamics, and competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate regular meetings with designated business units to discuss HR initiatives.
  • Deliver training programs, including orientation for new hires and supervisory training for management.
  • Provide HR consultation to line management, offering guidance as necessary.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends in collaboration with the HR team to devise effective solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Address and resolve intricate employee relations challenges, conducting thorough and impartial investigations.
  • Stay informed about legal requirements impacting employee management, minimizing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Support line management with performance management processes, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to enhance workplace relationships, boost morale, and improve productivity and retention rates.
  • Offer guidance on HR policies and their interpretation.
  • Assist international staff with expatriate assignments and related HR concerns.
  • Contribute to discussions on business unit restructuring, workforce planning, and succession strategies.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching requirements for executives.
  • Engage in the assessment and monitoring of training programs to ensure their effectiveness and follow up on training outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing support to managers throughout the year to ensure adherence to the Performance Management process, including goal setting and performance reviews.
  • Review employee benefits and assist with enrollment, cancellations, and modifications as necessary, ensuring effective benefits administration.
  • Support staffing and recruitment efforts, HRIS management, compensation strategies, performance management, and leave administration as required.
  • Carry out additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience and Education:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in managing complex employee relations matters.
  • Proficient knowledge across various HR disciplines, including compensation strategies, organizational assessment, employee relations, diversity initiatives, performance management, and applicable employment laws.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or SCP are advantageous.
  • Experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
