Job Summary:

The City of Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our Aviation Division team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our team, including coordinating completion of technical and administrative reports, meeting minutes, and other management-related reports. You will also serve as the first point of contact for customers by phone and in-person, responding to requests and complaints using initiative and discretion. This is a full-time regular position with a comprehensive benefits package, including 12 paid holidays, 96 hours of medical leave, 3 weeks of vacation, and health and dental benefits.

Responsibilities:

Coordinates completion of technical and administrative reports, meeting minutes, and other management-related reports.
Serves as the first point of contact for customers by phone and in-person.
Responds to requests and complaints using initiative and discretion.
Handles sensitive and confidential matters.
Operates a computer and utilizes relevant business software applications and applicable databases.

Requirements:

A High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) is required.
Four years in an administrative support position to include customer service/public contact experience.
Any equivalent combination of education and/or job-related experience that meets the minimum qualifications may be substituted.
Preferred: some college coursework.
