Human Resources Manager

The Probo Medical Human Resources Manager role is an opportunity for a highly organized, results-oriented professional with outstanding interpersonal skills to take initiative and play a pivotal role on our team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager will support all aspects of Human Resources and will be responsible for managing all onboarding and internal and external recruiting efforts and resources for Probo Medical.
The Human Resources Manager will have primary responsibility for the following activities:
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies.
- Promote and uphold productive, professional, and positive working relationships with management, salaried, and hourly employees in a multi-state environment.
- Promote a workplace free of unlawful discrimination and harassment, fair and consistent complaint investigative processes and procedures.
- Manage complex employee relations issues and conduct workplace investigations.
- Lead two direct reports to include: a Talent Acquisition professional and HR Associate.
- Own and manage full-cycle recruitment, and onboarding functions.
- Build talent pipelines by developing and maintaining a network of potential candidates.
- Monitor and evaluate recruitment metrics: Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead affirmative action efforts to include outreach and monitor/ measure the effectiveness of Probo Medical's equal employment opportunity and diversity efforts.
- Utilize technology and systems to automate and streamline HR, hiring and onboarding processes.
- Responsible for EEO1, Vets 4212 and AAP records and reporting and compliance.
- Implement, lead and facilitate HR initiatives and projects. Deliver human resources processes and programs that align to the business, culture and company goals.
- Manage programs and initiatives to include performance management, work force planning, and employee/career development.
- Oversee and develop annual HR training requirements and training compliance.
- Hire, train, develop, retain and evaluate direct reports.
- Observes and promote company standards and policies on safety, quality and productivity.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
5+ years human resources and recruiting experience.
2+ years supervisory/management/leadership experience
Undergraduate degree in business or related field (master's degree is a plus).
Experience with Microsoft Office, HR systems
Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems.
Strong recruiting background
Experienced in handling employee relations issues.
Extensive professional development within the area of Human Resources.
Demonstrated use of creative recruiting methods and best practices.
Thorough knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws.
Extremely high level of integrity, both in business and personally.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence others.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Collaborative attitude.
High level of flexibility
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and obtain timely results.
Able to work in a changing, fast-paced environment.
Strong communications skills both written and oral.
Excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Education and Experience
PHR, SPHR or SHRM certification preferred.
Experience in a multi-state environment preferred.
Experience with Paylocity preferred.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel to company locations, job fairs or recruiting events. 10% or less.
