Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a primary support contact for Visa clients, including financial institutions and vendors.
  • Timely escalate incidents according to established support protocols.
  • Proactively monitor and troubleshoot VOCC outages using various tools and techniques.
  • Facilitate internal and external communications to ensure swift resolution of issues.
  • Manage multiple platforms independently and concurrently.
  • Evaluate incident impacts and draft communications for relevant stakeholders within specified timeframes.
  • Assist with scheduled system changes.

Work Environment:
This position is performed on-site, requiring regular attendance at a designated Visa office location.

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of networking principles.
- Basic understanding of message flow with the potential for deeper comprehension.
- Familiarity with Unix/bash or shell scripting is advantageous.
- Basic skills in API monitoring and log analysis.
- Exposure to ITIL ticketing practices or Service Now is a plus.
- Understanding of file transfer protocols.
- Proficient in Linux, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar monitoring tools, including log analysis and query construction.
- Previous experience in IT Operations or Service Desk is beneficial, though training will be provided.
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 or equivalent messaging protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently as a self-starter.
- Responsible for managing workload and seeking guidance when necessary.
- Capable of making informed decisions based on available information and presenting recommendations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Committed to resolving incidents and assessing their urgency through logical analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Client-focused with the ability to engage with all management levels.

Additional Information:
Work Hours: Varies based on departmental needs.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel (5-10% of the time) may be necessary.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This role will be conducted in an office environment, requiring the ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate effectively in person and via telephone, and operate standard office equipment.
