Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts comprehensive all-source intelligence evaluations on issues pertinent to national security, encompassing areas such as border security, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and safeguarding critical infrastructure.
- Engages in collection research, analysis, and provides strategic recommendations regarding collaborative efforts with operational and support entities, external intelligence organizations, and federal law enforcement agencies to cultivate a cooperative environment for information sharing.
- Generates detailed analytic reports, assessments, briefings, and various written or verbal communications regarding contemporary threats and trends, leveraging sophisticated collection, research, and analytical methodologies across classified and unclassified information sources.
- Identifies deficiencies in available intelligence data and collaborates with other collection managers to devise strategies that fulfill intelligence needs through various collection disciplines within the Intelligence Community.
- Utilizes Intelligence Community analytic standards and appropriate methodologies, applying specialized expertise to develop assessments of current threats and trends for a diverse audience, from senior officials to state and local entities and private sector clients.
- Works in conjunction with analysts across the Intelligence Community, law enforcement, and other agencies on collaborative products, working groups, and additional information-sharing platforms.
Position Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree coupled with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the All-Source Intelligence Analyst domain.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and analytical processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of addressing various audiences and perspectives.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with external law enforcement and intelligence community partners.
- Experience as an all-source analyst within an Intelligence Community agency, producing comprehensive analytical intelligence products in accordance with established standards.
- Experience in coordinating all-source analytic assessments with various agencies across the Intelligence Community.
- Familiarity with intelligence analytic systems and tools, including classified message databases, Analyst Notebook/i2, Web Intelligence Search Engine (WISE), or Palantir.
- Candidates should exhibit strong organizational skills, a process-oriented mindset, and a focus on teamwork, alongside critical thinking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with government and industry personnel at all levels.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence, Process Improvement, Collection Management, and Intelligence Planning.
- Experience in assessing the relevance of data to support specific investigations, analyzing performance and sensitivity of analyses, and determining next steps for refinement.
Preferred Skills:
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis at the national level.
- Prior experience with NTC, particularly in operational data analysis.
- Specific expertise in intelligence production related to counterterrorism, counter-narcotics, counterintelligence, illicit trade, and/or alien smuggling.
- Prior liaison experience with other components of CBP or related agencies, providing guidance on national and international intelligence programs and policies.
- Experience in project or program management, including reviewing legislative or policy change documents on behalf of relevant government entities.
- Experience in developing and distributing intelligence alerts, reports, or threat bulletins to support operational initiatives.
- Familiarity with unique DHS systems and databases.
- Demonstrated experience with research and reporting tools, including TAC, Next Gen Trident, Lucky Search Service, PULSE, HOTR/CHROME, Harmony, BI2R, and QLIX.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Selected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain suitability with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
- Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment is necessary.
- Constant operation of a computer and other office productivity equipment is required.
- Frequent communication with colleagues, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations, necessitating accurate information exchange.
The projected compensation range for this position is $102,700-$170,800. Various factors may influence the final salary, including relevant experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
