Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts comprehensive all-source intelligence evaluations on matters pertaining to national security, focusing on areas such as border security, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and safeguarding critical infrastructure.
- Engages in collection research, analysis, and provides strategic recommendations for collaboration with operational and support teams, external intelligence agencies, and federal law enforcement to enhance information sharing and product development.
- Develops polished analytical reports, assessments, presentations, and other deliverables on current threats and trends, utilizing advanced collection, research, and analytical techniques across classified and unclassified information sources.
- Identifies deficiencies in available intelligence data and collaborates with collection managers to devise strategies for fulfilling intelligence needs through various collection disciplines.
- Applies Intelligence Community analytic standards and methodologies, leveraging specialized expertise to produce assessments on contemporary threats and trends for a diverse audience, from senior government officials to local and private sector stakeholders.
- Works collaboratively with analysts from the Intelligence Community, law enforcement, and other agencies on products, working groups, and information-sharing initiatives.
Position Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree coupled with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the All-Source Intelligence Analyst domain.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and analytical processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for varied audiences and perspectives.
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with external law enforcement and intelligence community partners.
- Background as an all-source analyst within an Intelligence Community agency, producing comprehensive analytical intelligence products in accordance with established standards.
- Experience in coordinating all-source analytical assessments with various agencies across the Intelligence Community.
- Familiarity with Intelligence Community analytic systems and tools, including classified message databases, Analyst Notebook/i2, Web Intelligence Search Engine (WISE), or Palantir.
- Candidates should be organized, process-oriented, team-focused, and possess strong critical thinking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with government and industry personnel at all levels.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence, Process Improvement, Collection Management, and Intelligence Planning.
- Experience in assessing data relevance to support investigations, analyzing performance and sensitivity of findings, and proposing subsequent steps for refinement.
Preferred Skills:
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis at the national level.
- Prior experience with NTC, particularly in operational data analysis.
- Specific expertise in intelligence production related to counterterrorism, counter-narcotics, counterintelligence, illicit trade, and alien smuggling.
- Experience in a liaison role with other components of CBP or related agencies, providing guidance on national and international intelligence programs and policies.
- Prior project/program management experience, including reviewing legislative or policy change documents on behalf of government entities.
- Experience in developing and disseminating intelligence alerts, reports, or threat bulletins in support of operational initiatives.
- Familiarity with unique DHS systems and databases.
- Demonstrated proficiency with research and reporting tools such as TAC, Next Gen Trident, Lucky Search Service, PULSE, HOTR/CHROME, Harmony, BI2R, and QLIX.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
- An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Selected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) suitability.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
- Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment is necessary.
- Constant operation of a computer and other office machinery is required.
- Frequent communication with colleagues, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations, necessitating accurate information exchange.
The anticipated compensation range for this role is $102,700-$170,800, influenced by factors such as relevant experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
