Position Overview: Human Resources Generalist


AHL Healthcare Group Inc. is a dynamic organization dedicated to providing essential services, including Adult Foster Care, Assisted Living, and Community-Based Services.

Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Compensation: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The HR Generalist acts as a bridge between staff and management.

The role involves enhancing organizational efficiency and development, strategic planning, performance management, employee relations, policy implementation, HR compliance, and ensuring workplace safety.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct annual evaluations and manage wage and salary adjustments.

2. Oversee all facets of employee relations, including performance reviews, corrective actions, investigations, terminations, exit interviews, and recognition programs.

3. Address and manage employee grievances and disputes effectively.

4. Ensure adherence to federal and state employment regulations.

5. Serve as an EEO specialist, ensuring timely report submissions.

6. Supervise all workers' compensation claims.

7. Monitor unemployment claims and manage appeals.

8. Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and HIPAA regulations across the organization.

9. Assist in developing and disseminating employee communications, including policies, handbooks, newsletters, and memos.

10. Administer classification programs, including job classification and description writing.

11. Participate in safety committee meetings.

12. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and reporting protocols.

13. Maintain confidentiality at all times.

14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

- Knowledge of current state and federal employment laws.

- Proficient in software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks.

Strong understanding of personnel administration principles, ability to formulate long-term plans and evaluate outcomes, effective communication skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities.


- Must pass MVR check, maintain a valid driver's license and insurance, and clear a state background check.
