Strategic Staffing Solutions (S3) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Senior Renewable Energy Project Manager.

Position Overview:

The Senior Renewable Energy Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of large-scale renewable energy projects, specifically those with a capacity of 1 megawatt (MW) or more. This role involves managing all aspects of project development from initial land acquisition to the point of construction commencement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide wind and solar projects through various phases of development, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborate with a team of experts to create project timelines, cost assessments, and engineering specifications.
  • Monitor project budgets and ensure the efficient procurement of resources, including labor and materials.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, providing updates and engaging them in key decisions.
  • Identify and evaluate potential opportunities for renewable project development, including negotiations for land use agreements.
  • Support the development team in crafting proposals for potential renewable projects and strategic partnerships.
  • Assess risks associated with projects and implement effective solutions in collaboration with leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze market trends and conditions in the renewable energy sector to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to foster positive relationships and support project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree coupled with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including at least 2 years in renewable energy or community development.
  • Alternatively, an Associate degree with 7 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with 9 years of project management experience in similar fields.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced degree in engineering, construction management, or business administration.
  • Experience within the renewable energy industry.
  • Familiarity with local project siting and permitting processes.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
