Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Partner Success Manager to drive the success of our Embedded Payroll partners. As a key member of our Business Development team, you'll be responsible for driving go-to-market strategies, measuring joint success, and making recommendations for future programs. You'll work closely with our Head of Partner Management and collaborate with product and partner enablement teams to develop specific success metrics and operating plans.
Key Responsibilities- Strategize and Plan: Develop per-partner success metrics and operating plans in collaboration with product and partner enablement teams.
- Operate: Drive success for our partners and their end customers through adoption and utilization of Gusto's embedded products.
- Teach: Help our platform partners learn to sell and market Gusto-powered people platform solutions.
- Measure What Matters: Own operating success with your partners by optimizing onboarding, utilization, and satisfaction.
- Build: Create and expand a successful feedback loop between our partners, their end users, and Gusto's internal product, marketing, engineering, and operations teams.
- 5-10 years of experience
- 2+ years in an external-facing role; 2+ years in a strategy or operations role
- Direct external-facing experience working with clients or partners
- Hands-on experience owning and growing a partner-oriented business
- Strong partnerships interest and acumen: understands partner lifecycle and investments required to enable partner success
- Excited by the combination of working deeply with individual partners and building for scale
- Strong sense of ownership and resilience; exceptional communicator (both written and verbal)
Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $105,000-$125,000/yr in Denver & most remote locations, and $127,000-$150,000/yr for San Francisco & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
