Mechanical Technician for Military Vehicles

As a Mechanical Technician, you will utilize your mechanical expertise and passion for repairs to contribute to the safety and efficiency of our military operations. Your role will involve serving as a Final Inspector and retro-fitter for Military Trucks, ensuring that our troops receive the highest quality vehicles.
Position: Mechanical Technician
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire, Full-Time
Work Schedule: 1st Shift (Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with optional Saturdays
Compensation: Starting pay of $17 or more per hour, based on experience

Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED
Experience Requirement: Minimum of 6 months in a mechanical role
In your capacity as a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues related to Military Trucks and Equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to instructions provided by lead mechanics for effective issue resolution
- Engage in various tasks related to Military Truck maintenance and assembly
- Perform part replacements, including mechanical components and low-voltage electrical systems, as well as painting when necessary
Essential Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a mechanic, hobbyist mechanic, or in mechanical assembly is preferred
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
Familiarity with reading schematics and experience with hydraulic systems is advantageous.
