The Senior Engineer - Mechanical is responsible for designing functional, dependable, and cost-efficient components for heavy-duty vehicles. This role involves conducting engineering analysis, design, and re-design, as well as developing components for both existing and new vehicle models. The engineer will provide integration and execution support for vehicle and component design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks adhering to industry standards and practices.
  • Assist senior engineers in the preparation of plans, design computations, and reporting.
  • Oversee multiple projects of limited complexity.
  • Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Mentor entry-level engineers on various projects.
  • Ensure that technical issues are resolved in accordance with company policies.
  • Assess designs for performance, safety, and reliability.
  • Prepare layouts, drawings, specifications, and material lists.
  • Provide technical support for production and issue resolution.
  • Draft technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Analyze system performance and enhance designs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems related to automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment.
  • Experience with advanced CAD systems.
