Job Overview

As a Mechanical Technician, you will utilize your mechanical expertise and passion for repair to contribute to the safety and efficiency of our Military operations. Your role will involve serving as a Final Inspector and retro-fitter for Military Trucks, ensuring that our troops receive the highest quality equipment.

Location: Not specified

Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

Work Schedule: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Monday to Friday, with optional Saturdays

Compensation: Starting pay of $17 or more per hour, based on experience

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 6 months in a related field

In your role as a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues and troubleshooting solutions related to Military Trucks and Equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to instructions provided by lead mechanics for effective problem resolution
  • Engage in various tasks related to Military Truck maintenance and assembly
  • Perform part replacements, including mechanical and low-voltage electrical components, as well as painting when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a mechanic, hobbyist mechanic, or in mechanical assembly is preferred
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools is essential

Experience in reading schematics and working with hydraulic systems is advantageous.
