Job Overview

Position Summary:
We are in search of a Lead Electro-Mechanical Engineer who possesses extensive expertise in high voltage systems, electro-mechanical power systems, and vehicle design and integration.

Key Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with electro-mechanical power systems.
  • Experience with high voltage systems and a strong understanding of high voltage electrical safety protocols.
  • Proven track record in vehicle design and integration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and control software.
  • Familiarity with Controller Area Network (CAN)/SAE J1939 and/or Vehicle Networking.
  • Experience in automotive or heavy equipment repair or design.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in wire harness design.
  • Capability to design thermal management systems is advantageous.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop functional, reliable, and cost-efficient electrical systems for heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Conduct engineering analysis, electrical design or redesign, and development of electrical systems and subsystems for both existing and new vehicle models.
  • Provide support for the integration and execution of vehicle control and embedded systems development.

Compensation: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
