Position Overview

If so, consider a role with The Easter Seal Society of Iowa, where you will assist clients in achieving greater independence within their own residences, particularly in the Des Moines metro area. Your responsibilities will include supporting individuals in various areas such as cooking skills, social interactions, financial literacy, health improvement, safety practices, personal care, and much more.

We have a variety of exciting shifts available:

  • Weekday evenings and overnight shifts
  • Weekend evening and overnight shifts
  • Morning shifts on weekends
  • Transportation roles during morning and afternoon hours

We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities.

What we provide:

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, employer-paid life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment coverage, long-term disability insurance, and a 403(b) Tax Deferred Retirement Plan for full-time employees
  • 20 days of paid time off (PTO) in the first year, increasing to 25 days in the second year, with an expectation that you will utilize your time off

The starting wage for weekday shifts is $14.75 per hour, increasing to $15.00 after successfully completing a 90-day orientation period. Weekend shifts in our 24 Hour SCL program offer $17 per hour, with potential increases for experienced team members.

We are currently offering a sign-on bonus of $3,000 after 3 months of employment, contingent upon maintaining attendance and working full-time hours.

The application process includes an initial phone interview followed by a second interview with a Team Leader.
