Company Overview:

Ledgent Technology is seeking a talented Power BI Specialist to join our team.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Power BI expert to assist in the creation of a sophisticated data model derived from our risk management platform. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Power BI development and maintenance, enabling them to effectively manage existing report upkeep, enhancements, and new report initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct an architectural assessment of current reports and devise a comprehensive plan for their reconstruction.
  • Oversee the implementation of the plan through to completion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate knowledge transfer and skill development.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing intricate data relationships within Power BI.
  • Familiarity with building and utilizing Power BI development pipelines and change management processes.
  • Deep understanding of the interplay between Power BI Reports, Semantic Models, Dashboards, workspaces, development pipelines, and Applications.
  • Ability to create Power BI visuals and reports from the ground up using imported cloud data, primarily from SharePoint.
  • Proficient in creating, modifying, and troubleshooting measures and data queries.
  • Common troubleshooting scenarios include schema alterations, query errors, and authentication challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of dashboard design principles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in gathering requirements from stakeholders to develop dashboards and reports tailored to their needs.
