Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, adhering to relevant regulations, and providing exceptional support to our workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute bi-weekly and monthly payroll for all staff, including the calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes.
  • Maintain precise payroll records and ensure all employee data is current.
  • Review and validate time sheets, work logs, and related documents to guarantee accurate payments.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related questions and discrepancies.
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports and summaries for management review.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations and best practices.
  • Assist with year-end reporting and audits.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to enhance payroll processes.


Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • 1-5 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with care.
  • Familiarity with payroll laws and regulations is advantageous.
