Position Overview

The Agricultural Equipment Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling both new and pre-owned agricultural machinery and outdoor power tools to a diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities

- Acts as the representative of the company in the designated sales region, engaging with customers to facilitate machinery sales.
- Keeps abreast of the latest product knowledge, including features and advantages of all equipment available through the dealership.
- Observes market competition and promptly relays relevant information to management.
- Maintains detailed sales management records for all clients within the assigned territory.
- Conducts on-site demonstrations of new equipment to potential buyers.
- Tracks shifts in customer business trends and communicates findings to management in a timely manner.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of used equipment values to accurately assess trade-in opportunities.
- Stays informed about financing alternatives to assist customers in acquiring new and used products.
- Participates in relevant sales training programs and seminars.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

- Preferred 1-2 years of experience in agricultural or outdoor power equipment sales.
- Proficient in standard desktop applications, including Microsoft Office and internet functionalities.
- Flexibility in working hours is essential.
- Strong customer relationship management skills are a must.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports is required.
