About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Rental Payment and Housing Coordinator to join our team at Amity Foundation. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals in obtaining and maintaining permanent housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial objectives for rent payments and subsidies
  • Collaborate with Case Managers to ensure effective case follow-up
  • Assess housing and personal history information to inform rental payment decisions
  • Input rental payment case notes into the Coordinated Entry System (CES)
  • Deliver monthly rental payments to landlords and property owners
  • Advocate for participants with landlords and property owners to secure rental units
  • Assist with completing applications and other documentation support
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bilingual, fluent in Spanish/English (oral and written)
  • High school diploma or equivalent OR a bachelor's degree in behavioral health or social science
  • At least one year of experience providing outreach, substance abuse counseling, reentry services, or case management within a culturally diverse population AND a minimum of three years in office administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • A self-motivated team player with strong communication skills
