About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Service Engineer to join our team at ABB. As a key member of our service delivery team, you will be responsible for executing service work of medium to high complexity, ensuring customer satisfaction, and identifying new service business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute service work as per customer order and expectations, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Contribute to customer retention by delivering superior customer experience and effectively communicating service work timelines and expectations.
  • Identify new service business opportunities for ABB, in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams.
  • Coach technicians and engineers and supervise complex site activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in servicing critical power equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Broad experience in Field Service or a related role, with a focus on Critical Power Systems (Uninterruptible Power Supplies, Power Distribution, Static Switch, Battery, and Power Conditioning Systems).
  • OSHA 10, OSHA 30 training preferred.
  • NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training preferred.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., NETA, NICET, CompTIA, ABB, APC, Eaton, Schneider Electric, etc.) preferred.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
