Business Development Representative

The Outbound Business Development Representative plays a crucial role in driving sales growth for Fullbay. This position is responsible for making outbound calls to prospective customers, scheduling appointments, demos, and consultations with the Fullbay sales team. The BDR is primarily responsible for working cold outbound leads provided by marketing, and may be asked to handle other types of customer leads.
Key Responsibilities:- Make over 75 cold calls and warm leads daily, or maintain 60 minutes of talk time with prospective customers, and promptly follow up with a high volume of leads.
- Schedule demonstrations with Account Executives for prospective customers who are not currently Fullbay customers.
- Assess the quality of a prospect to determine the viability of sales opportunities.
- Qualify and schedule demos for potential Fullbay customers.
- Document details such as customer profiles, responses, and next steps using Salesforce and Outreach.
- Listen actively to understand what customers need and communicate Fullbay's value proposition.
- Prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources and timely customer follow-up.
- Research, develop, and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive more demos.
- Become an expert on Fullbay technology and target markets.
- Achieve established monthly metrics, as well as weekly and daily targets.
- Build strong business networks in and outside the Fullbay organization.
- Collaborate with the Fullbay team to improve processes and add efficiencies for the team.
- Adapt to process changes and continuous improvement ideas as Fullbay tests and benchmarks new ideas.
- Adhere to all confidentiality and compliance regulations.
- Minimum GED or High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred.
- One to two years of prior hands-on work experience in a similar sales or sales development role.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Computer savvy with solid knowledge of MS Office products and technically proficient with experience with various web technologies.
- Proficient with online meeting software, web conferencing tools, CRMs, and Sales Engagement tools.
- Strong organization and time management skills and ability to work independently while being results-driven in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of success and over-achievement.
- Ability to think on one's feet to creatively solve prospects' business needs.
- Numerically literate and data-driven, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics, and comfortable meeting and exceeding monthly quotas and handling rejections.
- Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, confidence, and desire to be the best.
- Team player who enjoys and is comfortable wearing many hats and juggling multiple tasks, while inspiring everyone around you to do great work.
- Must be able to travel up to 25%.
