Position Overview

As a key member of the Human Resources team, you will play a vital role in supporting management and leadership in addressing and resolving HR-related matters. Your responsibilities will include assisting employees with transfer requests and procedures, as well as monitoring and aiding managers with recruitment processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and conduct applicant screenings, including drug tests, reference checks, and background verifications.
2. Maintain comprehensive logs for applicant flow, drug screenings, orientations, and transfer requests.
3. Create and manage new hire and personnel files, ensuring accurate entry into HR Information Systems.
4. Facilitate the orientation process for new employees.
5. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies during the hiring and recruitment processes.
6. Maintain accurate employee records and files, including interview documentation and I-9 forms.
7. Support payroll processing and maintenance in accordance with established policies.
8. Communicate any employee relations issues to HR management.
9. Develop and maintain organized filing systems and generate HR data reports as needed.
10. Answer phone calls and manage messages professionally.
11. Prepare and type office correspondence using computer systems.
12. Serve as a subject matter expert in Human Resources and participate in project teams.
13. Provide training to new hires on HR processes, programs, and policies.

Preferred Qualifications

Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a related role.

Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience required.

License or Certification:
None required.
