Role Summary:

The Front Desk Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supporting Front Office Management by delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests throughout their stay. This position is essential in optimizing room revenue and occupancy rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in overseeing the front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  2. Provide guidance and support to front desk staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  3. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a service-oriented approach.
  4. Monitor and manage room reservations, special requests, and VIP services.
  5. Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  6. Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  7. Manage the front desk computer systems and ensure accurate logging of messages and deliveries.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry preferred. Previous supervisory experience is advantageous. A valid driver's license is necessary for this role.

Physical Requirements:

This position may require flexible hours and the ability to stand for extended periods. The role involves light physical activity, including lifting and moving objects as needed.

Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with guests and team members. The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently is crucial for success in this role.
