Business Development

  • Client Management: Oversee and update a detailed list of prospective clients using the CRM, ensuring precise and current information for effective communication and tailored outreach strategies.
  • Pipeline Oversight: Supervise the business development pipeline through CRM software, collaborating with the team on the creation of RFPs, RFQs, RFEIs, proposals, and presentations.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and facilitate business development meetings with potential clients and weekly internal team discussions.
  • Event Participation: Attend relevant industry events and conferences alongside the partners.
  • Administrative Support: Assist partners in managing all internal and external business development communications on a daily basis.

Press Relations

  • Media Contacts: Maintain a comprehensive press list.

  • Publicist Collaboration: Communicate weekly with the publicist and provide necessary support.

Promotional Activities

  • Campaign Coordination: Align business development initiatives with the social media strategy and calendar weekly.
  • Marketing Materials: Collaborate with marketing on the creation and upkeep of all marketing materials, including portfolios and brochures.
  • Digital Presence Management: Work with marketing to update the website and other media representations, reviewing them monthly.

Administrative Duties

  • Strategic Planning: Assist partners in long-term strategic planning.
  • Budget Management: Maintain an annual business development and marketing budget in partnership with the accounting team.
  • Event Calendar Management: Collaborate with partners to manage a comprehensive monthly events calendar.
  • Project Management: Participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staffing for business development projects.
  • Knowledge Management: Coordinate with the knowledge manager on the firm's project archive and collateral management.
  • Reporting: Provide annual and quarterly reports against established benchmarks and trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Design, or Architecture with 3-5 years of relevant experience in an Architecture or Interior Design firm or related business.
  • 4-5+ years of experience in business development and some marketing.
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Google Drive/Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Constant Contact. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM systems, specifically Pipedrive.

Studio Overview

INC Architecture & Design is a multi-disciplinary studio specializing in a diverse range of project types. With experience in high-rise residential buildings, hotels, restaurants, galleries, and retail spaces, the studio excels in integrating architecture and interior design.

Benefits

This salaried position offers benefits after a three-month introductory period, including two weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, health, dental, and vision insurance, snacks, and a 401K plan. The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000.
