Job Summary

Blue and Company is seeking a highly skilled EBP Audit Manager to join our team. As an integral part of our audit team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate audit of Employee Benefit Plans (EBP) in accordance with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and all other applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-depth reviews of EBP financials and ensure accuracy of data in accordance with ERISA requirements.
  • Perform and document audit procedures on client's EBP financials, disclosures, operations, and internal controls.
  • Conduct and manage testing and obtain evidence to support conclusions.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of defined contribution and other plan audits.
  • Keep abreast of current accounting pronouncements, auditing guidelines, and technical updates.
  • Conduct research on auditing standards and EBP compliance issues.
  • Work with Management to prepare and present audit findings and recommendations.
  • Work with EBP clients to ensure timely completion of the audit.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with clients.
  • Prepare and review audit work papers, reports, and other documents.
  • Assist in training less experienced team members.
Requirements:
  • 4-6+ years of demonstrated employee benefit plan audit experience.
  • Leadership of numerous plan audits across various provider platforms.
  • Experience with specific compliance testing (contributions, benefits, loans, eligibility).
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills working across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple plan audits simultaneously across multiple teams.
  • 11-K or large plan audit experience a plus but not required.
  • Position can be hybrid or fully remote.
