Position Overview

The hourly wage for this role is $20.60.

We offer three shifts:
  • 1st Shift: 7am - 3pm
  • 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11pm (includes an additional $1.50/hour shift differential)
  • 3rd Shift: 11pm - 7am (includes an additional $1.00/hour shift differential)
The Judge Group specializes in the production of proprietary and custom injection molding solutions for various sectors including industrial lead battery, automotive, and consumer markets. We are currently enhancing our battery poly manufacturing and recycling capabilities to address industry-wide supply challenges.

As a Production Operator, you will engage in a variety of production-related tasks, which include operating multiple plastic injection molding machines, off-bearing, and assembly work. Successful candidates will be self-driven and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. This role requires effective communication and interaction with all levels of personnel within the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with productivity and scheduling goals.
  • Prepare, stage, and dispose of packaging materials.
  • Operate multiple plastic injection molding machines in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Accurately document and maintain production records both manually and electronically.
  • Conduct visual quality inspections of all products.
  • Collaborate with team members to address inspection issues and provide clarity on quality and compliance matters.
  • Assist in training new employees on machinery operation, job duties, and quality inspections.
  • Identify inspection discrepancies and communicate issues to relevant company departments (Quality, Maintenance, Operations, etc.).
  • Report any operational irregularities, defective equipment, or materials to the appropriate supervisory personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision during your shift.
  • Engage in general housekeeping and 5S activities to uphold a tidy workspace.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Preferred Experience:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and data entry into production databases.
  • Strong understanding of audit and corrective action processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • This position involves physical demands such as lifting up to 50 lbs, moving around the workplace, and operating office equipment.
  • Consistent attendance is crucial.
Other Requirements:
  • Availability for weekend shifts is necessary.
  • Strong attendance record is essential.
Educational Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
