Position Overview:

The Senior Revenue Integrity Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate billing for all services and items, including procedures, evaluation and management (E&M), supplies, and pharmaceuticals. This position is essential for maintaining compliance and optimizing revenue processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accurate charging of services and items, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance processes related to charge capture and reconciliation.
  • Provide education and support to staff regarding revenue integrity practices.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this role ranges from $32.28 to $51.54, translating to an annual salary between $67,142 and $107,203. Compensation is determined based on relevant experience, and a comprehensive benefits package is available for eligible positions.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position requiring availability from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with the flexibility of working remotely.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Nursing, Healthcare, Finance, or a related field, along with at least five years of relevant experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Alternatively, eight years of pertinent experience in areas such as billing, charge description master, chart auditing, coding, and charge capture.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Registered Nurse (RN) license or clinical experience, along with prior experience in Revenue Integrity.
  • Familiarity with Epic clinical and revenue cycle modules is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of APC, DRG, APR-DRG, managed care reimbursement, and compliance with CMS regulations is required.
  • Experience in a multi-hospital integrated delivery system is essential.

Certifications:

Applicants must possess one of the following:

  • Registered Nurse License
  • Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS), Certified Documentation Integrity Practitioner (CDIP), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification.
  • Epic Certifications (e.g., Resolute, Willow, Beaker, etc.) are preferred.
