Role Summary:

The Material Handler/Pick Pack Operator is crucial for the seamless functioning of the logistics framework. Responsibilities encompass various material handling tasks within the facility, including transporting raw materials to production areas and preparing finished goods for dispatch. The individual will rotate daily through different areas including Warehouse B, Warehouse C, Pick Pack, and EPP.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Must hold a valid forklift certification and successfully complete the Mactac forklift training program.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on forklifts.
  • Accurately pick orders independently and efficiently.
  • Pack orders with precision and speed.
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, customer service representatives, and management.
  • Familiarity with PC-based systems and RF technology is essential.
  • Safely and efficiently utilize various forklift attachments.
  • Learn and competently operate all FedEx/UPS equipment.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds consistently over extended periods.
  • Perform all typical functions assigned to Material Handlers.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.
  • Assist supervisors in locating and managing inventory as needed.
  • Support inventory audits and maintenance activities.
  • Willingness to cross-train and perform various tasks within the EPP operation.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
