4. Conduct regular payroll audits and keep work instructions current.
5. Serve as the primary contact for payroll and tax-related inquiries, collaborating with HRIS for resolutions.
6. Spearhead payroll initiatives during mergers and acquisitions.
7. Ensure adherence to payroll regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
8. Assist staff in troubleshooting and resolving payroll issues.
9. Work alongside the Accounting Department for General Ledger inquiries.
10. Identify training requirements and develop training programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.
Preferred Certifications:
- PHR, SPHR, CPP. Minimum of 6 years of payroll experience, emphasizing management and timekeeping systems. Excellent communication, multitasking, and decision-making abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 10%, including domestic and occasional international travel.
