Position Overview: As a Lead Consultant, you will enhance and solidify the DSS value proposition for Private Equity clients in a dynamic, high-growth setting. Your focus will be on the intersection of operational excellence and sustainability/ESG, allowing you to develop and apply innovative skills while collaborating with global investors and their portfolio companies across various sectors and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and implement strategies that create positive impacts and value for clients.
  • Deliver primary services such as pre-acquisition due diligence, post-acquisition evaluations, roadmap execution, and tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain key client relationships, providing senior-level guidance to project teams.
  • Utilize your extensive consulting experience and knowledge of the Private Equity sector to lead client solutions and project execution.
  • Foster long-term relationships, spearhead significant cross-team initiatives, and contribute to the growth of the Private Equity Practice Industry vertical.
  • Help define our value proposition and enhance DSS brand visibility.

Who You Are: You possess a strong background in Operations Management Consulting and have a proven track record in advising clients and driving business development within the Private Equity domain. You are likely a Manager or Senior Manager in a consulting firm, with a commitment to developing industry practices and nurturing long-term client relationships. Your exceptional listening skills enable you to craft offers and solutions tailored to each client's specific needs, and you are comfortable engaging with C-suite executives, including board members and investment teams.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in a consulting capacity at a top-tier strategy or operations firm, with at least 3 years focused on advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
  • Operational experience (consulting or corporate) emphasizing sustainability initiatives (e.g., decarbonization, circular economy).
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of synthesizing complex data into actionable insights.
  • A collaborative working style, proactive attitude, and the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in American English.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Expertise:

  • A Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or business; an MBA or MS is preferred.
  • Over 8 years of experience in management consulting, with a deep understanding of how consulting services can benefit clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset to collaborate within diverse, fast-paced teams.

Travel Requirements: Travel may be necessary for this role.
