Key Responsibilities:- Perform thorough due diligence on the insurance frameworks of target firms being acquired by private equity entities.
- Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of target insurance frameworks and offer recommendations for alignment with parent company programs.
- Work alongside specialized teams within the organization to address specific coverage areas, including representations and warranties or contingent liabilities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with private equity firms and their portfolio companies within the AEC sector.
- Deliver industry insights and benchmarking data to assist clients in optimizing their insurance frameworks and effectively managing risks.
- 3-4 years of experience in the AEC insurance domain or a related insurance field.
- Understanding of M&A due diligence procedures and insurance program evaluations.
- Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to assess risk portfolios, policies, and exposures.
- Potential to transition into a producer role, concentrating on generating new business with private equity-backed AEC firms.
- Opportunity to serve as an outsourced risk manager for private equity firms with multiple AEC portfolio companies.
- Possibility to build and lead a private equity team within the organization, overseeing due diligence and client management.
This position offers a hybrid work environment with a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $200,000, which is negotiable. The agency provides excellent benefits, including 401k matching and a generous time-off policy.
