Reporting Structure:

This position reports to the Hoisting Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for executing service tasks of varying complexity in accordance with established work instructions and ABB's standard operational procedures, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols.

Your daily activities will involve:
  • Collaborating with clients on-site to identify operational enhancements and address challenges.
  • Conducting field service operations, diagnosing technical problems, and performing assessments through both remote and on-site interventions.
  • Compiling lists of materials required for service tasks and ensuring the availability and quality of all necessary components and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting equipment and process failures, recommending proactive measures to prevent future occurrences.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in electrical or mechanical disciplines.
  • Over 8 years of relevant experience in industrial systems.
  • Expertise in mine hoist systems is highly advantageous.
  • A valid passport and driver's license.
  • The ability to travel across North America, including international locations.
  • Work authorization that allows you to operate within the U.S.
