Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Oversee the traffic engineering technical practice across all offices, serving as a senior technical resource.
  • Manage the development of studies and designs pertinent to traffic engineering.
  • Conduct and supervise comprehensive traffic operations analyses for various projects.
  • Ensure technical Quality Control/Quality Assurance for all traffic engineering outputs.
  • Supervise staff engaged in travel demand modeling and signal timing optimizations.
  • Engage with clients during public meetings and project discussions.

Leadership and Mentorship:

  • Guide and mentor project teams, including professional engineers and junior traffic engineers.
  • Recommend and facilitate training for technical staff to enhance their skills.

Business Development:

  • Lead marketing initiatives for transportation planning and traffic engineering projects.
  • Support the development of scopes, contracts, schedules, and budgets for various projects.
  • Work towards understanding and expanding J-U-B's market presence.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is competitive, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes insurances, performance bonuses, and a flexible work schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification.
  • 15-20 years of progressive experience in Traffic/Transportation Engineering.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools such as HCS, Synchro, Sidra, Cube, Vistro, Visum, and Vissim.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in mentoring junior engineers.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
