Join Our Team
Kleinfelder is seeking a meticulous Principal Professional - Gas Utility Pipeline to enhance our Energy division. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, along with the capacity to lead and motivate a team, are essential qualities for this role. The projects will be multi-disciplinary, and experience in utility pipeline work, particularly in pipeline, geotechnical (including trenchless design), and civil engineering, is highly desirable. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of project delivery, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, invoicing, and closure.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate effectively with project support personnel to monitor and control projects to meet financial targets.
- Communicate technical information clearly to practitioners, clients, and non-specialists.
- Guide and mentor project team members, providing constructive feedback on performance.
- Deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations while adhering to industry standards.
- Comply with all federal and state regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
- Promote and uphold Kleinfelder's safety culture.
- Required: Bachelor of Science Degree.
- Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
- 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Understanding of pipeline standards and industry best practices.
- Knowledge of Natural Gas and Hazardous Liquids systems, including engineering design and construction.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD 3D.
- Experience in the planning, design, and engineering of natural gas pipelines, both distribution and transmission, is preferred.
