Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our team at Fidelity Investments. As a Principal Mobile Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing cutting-edge digital experiences for our customers.

Our team is responsible for building and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure, and we are looking for someone who can bring their expertise in cloud engineering to help us drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and secure cloud-based applications using NodeJS, Java, and other technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and other cloud-based systems to support our digital presence.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to software engineering standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and contribute to the development of new ideas and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in cloud engineering, with a strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and services.
  • Experience with NodeJS, Java, and other cloud-based technologies.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
