The Role:

As an Operations Administrative Assistant, you play a vital role in supporting Entegris' mission to drive innovation. In this position, you will assist our operations leaders with essential customer, safety, HR, and business processes, including timekeeping, safety observations, and various project support tasks. You will be encouraged to think creatively about how we can enhance our workflows and improve the accuracy and efficiency of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist plant managers and supervisors with administrative tasks.
  • Support the review and submission of timecards, including addressing missed punches and managing attendance policies.
  • Facilitate New Hire Onboarding, coordinating orientation, IT setup, and profile administration.
  • Provide backup for inventory management and purchasing of MRO supplies.
  • Coordinate event planning, setup, and management for meetings and plant-related activities.
  • Document minutes for key meetings and track action items to completion.
  • Manage office logistics and desk space.
  • Assist with document administration related to employee training.
  • Track employee qualifications, certifications, training events, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain employee files and assist in document collection.
  • Prepare and review performance evaluations for new hires.
  • Manage HR documentation, ensuring accuracy and proper filing.
  • Assist employees in navigating HR systems.
  • Create user guides for common inquiries to promote a self-service culture.
  • Update employee information in HR systems as needed.
Ideal Candidate Traits:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, tailored to the audience.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Capability to work on projects with minimal guidance, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
