Job Summary:

Embassy of Scranton is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing Operations to lead our nursing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the overall operation of the nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Supervise and manage a team of nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, to ensure excellent patient care and a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as admissions, social services, and activities, to ensure seamless care coordination and resident satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance resident care and nursing operations.
  • Develop and manage budgets for nursing supplies, equipment, and personnel to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure Embassy of Scranton remains a leader in senior living care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current RN license and at least 2 years of experience in nursing administration, including supervision, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards established by Medicare, Medicaid, and state and city government.
