We're looking for a talented senior-level Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of commercial loans. This sales and relationship-focused individual will prospect for and close new business relationships and retain and expand relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate has proven business development experience in the commercial and industrial space and can manage and grow a large, complex commercial loan portfolio. They should have knowledge and experience with advising clients and prospects on commercial banking ancillary product sets and services, identifying and successfully capitalizing on cross-sell opportunities, and making appropriate referrals. This person will understand how to navigate a commercial banking loan approval process and can successfully manage portfolio credit quality. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial loans
  • Prospect for and close new business relationships
  • Retain and expand relationships with existing customers
  • Advise clients and prospects on commercial banking ancillary product sets and services

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, or other related field
  • 10 or more years of commercial lending experience
  • Proven business development experience in the commercial and industrial space
  • Knowledge and experience with advising clients and prospects on commercial banking ancillary product sets and services
  • Ability to manage and grow a large, complex commercial loan portfolio
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
