Your Role and Impact

As an Advanced Medical Equipment Service Specialist II, you will engage your curiosity and work alongside a talented and diverse team. Your contributions will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining an organized territory management system utilizing current reports and data.
  • Developing effective contingency plans with guidance from experienced colleagues.
  • Implementing continuous improvements in operational efficiency.
  • Fostering high levels of customer satisfaction while achieving business objectives with minimal supervision.
  • Embracing change positively and inspiring your peers to do the same.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service by resolving product issues and complaints effectively.
  • Communicating efficiently with customers to address their needs.
  • Promoting service contracts, upgrades, and parts sales to meet performance targets.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of corporate policies and procedures, including customer complaint resolution.
  • Providing timely and accurate documentation of field activities and expenses.
  • Building strong relationships with customers across various markets.
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to achieve business goals.
  • Ensuring proper inventory management for service operations.
  • Engaging in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of Vyaire products.
  • Safeguarding company assets, including tools and inventory.
  • Exhibiting operational excellence by challenging traditional methods and embracing innovative solutions.
  • Taking initiative in coordinating service activities based on regional needs.

Essential Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • An Associate Degree in a technical field or a Technical Certificate, or military technical training, along with 2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical, electronic, IT, or medical device repair.

Alternatively:

  • 2 years of proven experience in respiratory medical device repair.

Or:

  • One year as a Junior Service Technician with Vyaire.
  • Certification in information technology or respiratory therapy training is advantageous.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience in identifying and supporting team improvements.
  • A track record of exceeding operational targets.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
  • Experience in customer interactions, particularly in handling escalations.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure.

Travel Requirements:

This position involves significant travel, with expectations of 80% daily travel and limited overnight stays after the initial onboarding period.

Physical Demands:

Candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs without restrictions.
