Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a specialist in renting, leasing, and selling heavy machinery and specialty attachments.
  • Establish new customer relationships within the designated territory to maximize overall profitability.
  • Foster positive relationships with existing clients through regular visits and developing consistent account strategies.
  • Ensure revenue growth and service delivery at assigned customer accounts while addressing client needs.
  • Collaborate closely with sales team members to achieve company sales goals.
  • Organize and participate in strategic customer engagement activities.
  • Provide product information and educate clients on financial merchandising options.
  • Plan and implement business strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate customer records.
  • Communicate with branch staff regarding equipment availability, ensuring timely deliveries, repairs, pickups, and setups.
  • Prepare external sales reports as required.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  • Network with industry professionals.
  • Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as needed.

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success with 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the heavy equipment sector and/or 5 years in a related field.
  • The ideal candidate will possess direct industry sales experience with heavy machinery and specialty attachments.
  • Experience in project management, new business development, and customer retention is essential.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • A 2-4 year degree is preferred but not mandatory.
