Position Overview
The Service Equipment Specialist plays a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of various electronic systems, including security and point of sale technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs on a diverse range of electro-mechanical devices, such as cash registers, coin changers, security systems, alarms, and point of sale equipment.
- Efficiently complete service requests and maintenance tasks, ensuring all interactions are handled with professionalism.
- Accurately review work orders, manuals, and schematics to perform maintenance and service tasks effectively.
- Utilize a variety of testing instruments and hand/power tools pertinent to the role.
- May be assigned to different locations temporarily to assist with new installations and upgrades.
- Perform additional duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
- A keen focus on safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation with fellow technicians.
- Familiarity with various POS systems (Verifone/NCR) is advantageous.
- Experience with alarm systems is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driving record is essential.
- Proficiency in using computers and smartphones.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The role involves moderate to strenuous physical activity, including walking, climbing, standing, carrying materials, stooping, kneeling, and bending. Candidates must be capable of climbing ladders and lifting/carrying weights up to 70 lbs. Work environments will vary, encompassing both indoor and outdoor settings.
