About the Role

Mitchell Martin Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team as a Cloud Integration Expert. This is a long-term contract opportunity that requires a strong background in Salesforce development, integration, and cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud integrations using Salesforce APIs and ESB
  • Lead and contribute to the development, documentation, deployment, and automation of delivery
  • Collaborate with external programmers and vendors to coordinate delivery of software applications
  • Provide leadership and innovative solutions for cloud integrations
  • Support test-driven development for flawless solutions using unit tests and cucumber acceptance tests
  • Work in a SAFe Agile environment achieving technical excellence through technical and execution discipline
  • Invoke or quickly acquire domain acumen: Analyze the current business functions, technical implementations, and plan for needs, gaps, and improvements
  • Meet tight timeline commitments and plan for give-and-take designs to ensure an MVP this year into a live environment
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in Salesforce development and integration
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II
  • Strong SFDC skills including Apex Classes, Controllers, Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components
  • Strong SFDC integration skills including knowledge of Salesforce API limits (streaming, soap, rest, bulk, and chatter)
  • Experience with developer toolkit including IDE, Eclipse, Web Services (REST / SOAP)
  • Autonomous/Self-Starter
  • Proficiency in SOQL, JavaScript
  • Proficiency with IDEs like VSCode and SCM tools like Git, BitBucket
  • Experience with Custom Application development on Salesforce platform
  • Excellent data relationship/data interfaces/SQL query skills
  • Experience with data integration tools like Informatica PowerCenter
  • Ability to determine best-fit solutions for real-time, batch, event messaging
  • Work efforts must be thorough and focused with strong attention to detail
  • Able to understand strategic objectives as well as deliver tactical solutions
  • Ability to document designs in a Wiki as well as draw clean flow and sequence diagrams
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple application partners, business, other IT managers, architecture, internal stakeholders, and developers in providing solution suggestions and constructive feedback
  • Ability to confer with peers, architects, BAs, and product owners to backwards engineer legacy integrations and develop technical requirements without a BRD
