Position: Business Support Analyst, IT Revenue Cycle Support

Position Summary:

The Revenue Cycle Application Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of Patient Financial Services and Charge Services applications. This position requires a proactive approach to support and enhance customer-focused IT solutions through collaboration with multi-disciplinary project teams. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Patient Accounting and Charge workflows, adeptly troubleshooting application/process failures, and identifying opportunities for improvement in partnership with business stakeholders and fellow analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee complex system projects, defining project scope and objectives based on user needs and a comprehensive understanding of business systems.
  • Develop innovative solutions to address intricate problems, considering equipment capacity, operational time, and desired outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements and translating them into precise system specifications.
  • Possess a deep technical knowledge of systems analysis while understanding the business implications of technology applications.
  • Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify necessary resources, and create schedules to ensure timely project completion.
  • Assist users and managers in analyzing needs and exploring potential system or workflow alternatives.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow and productivity enhancements through existing system functionalities or automation tools.
  • Research and recommend vendor solutions, actively collaborating with vendors to influence product development.
  • Ensure that system documentation, including data flows and processing events, is current and accessible.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum Experience: At least six years of experience in a relevant functional area with increasing responsibilities, including experience in developing and supporting IT systems.

Licensure Requirement: Professional or clinical licensure may be required based on the applications assigned.
