Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of Project Installation Technicians.
- Provide direction and support to the technical team, promoting their professional development and creating pathways for career advancement.
- Encourage a culture of transparent communication and constructive feedback by establishing regular team and individual meetings.
- Employ project management methodologies and tools for effective planning, scheduling, scope management, and risk assessment.
- Coordinate project efforts with the Delivery Center and other key stakeholders.
- Assist in the completion of RFPs as directed by the Director.
- Ensure effective allocation of project teams to guarantee timely project delivery. Manage subcontractors concerning project planning, adherence to timelines, scope of work, and invoicing.
- Oversee the project area portfolio, focusing on revenue, operating profit, inventory, and accounts receivable.
- Forecast upcoming projects and maintain daily accuracy of current and future forecasts.
- Supervise direct reports to achieve relevant KPIs and assigned metrics.
- Manage area installations and keep project summaries updated.
- Create and maintain shared monthly project schedules that incorporate subcontract and internal resources. Collaborate with the Regional Director to establish area priorities and guidelines.
- Maintain close communication with Sales, Finance, Service, and Support to ensure efficient coordination of project modifications and requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing technical teams, construction projects, or supporting IT environments. Industry experience is advantageous.
- Network certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or CCNA are preferred.
- Microsoft Certification - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) is preferred.
- SQL 2016 Database Development Certification is preferred.
- Certifications in CSM, PMP, or ITIL are highly preferred.
