Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Incoming Inspector who possesses a strong background in the aircraft or aeronautical sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of relevant experience, be Hazardous Shipping Certified, and demonstrate a solid understanding of Quality Inspection protocols and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to the Material and Purchasing Supervisor for all incoming inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with the Repair Station Operations under FAR Part 145.
  • Conduct thorough shipping and receiving inspections in line with established Quality Manuals and Procedures.
  • Perform inspections in accordance with governmental regulations and specifications.
  • Utilize electrostatic protection equipment as required.
  • Inspect incoming purchased parts and products for quality assurance.
  • Familiarize yourself with relevant FAA/EASA regulations.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for customers and the company.
  • Maintain accurate reports and records as mandated.
  • Assist colleagues with specific assignments as directed by the Materials & Purchasing Manager.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • May conduct inspections of outgoing products.
  • Participate in material burn testing as required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
  • Provide support to Material Warehouse and Tool Room personnel as needed.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Materials & Purchasing Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in an aircraft or aeronautical environment.
  • Hazardous Shipping Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Inspection processes.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Well-developed critical thinking and analytical abilities.
  • Capability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 pounds.
  • Proficient in computer applications with a willingness to learn new software.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Team-oriented individual who embodies the core values of the organization.
  • Previous experience with FAA Repairman's Certificate and Quality Control is preferred.
  • Experience with Corridor software and forklift operation is advantageous.
