Job Description

Azure Summit Technology is a leading provider of high-performance RF hardware, firmware, and software products, and innovative, practical, multi-function RF systems solutions that address emerging missions of national importance for customers across the Department of Defense.

We are a diverse team of highly qualified RF systems engineers and mission subject matter experts (SMEs) with backgrounds in electrical, mechanical, RF, hardware, software, firmware, and systems engineering, working together within a creative, innovative, and highly collaborative culture, to deliver cutting edge solutions for our customers.

To succeed in this role, you will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect received products, subassemblies, components, and parts for conformance to specifications in compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 and other established standards as required by Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Receiving Inspection to mechanical and electrical drawings, Quality Control Plans (QCP)s and other appropriate requirements
  • Perform Work in Process (WIP) inspection of product for conformance including but not limited to correct configuration, assembly, physical configuration, proper hardware installation, external appearance, workmanship, and documentation
  • Inspect ready to pack or packed units. Ensure units are packed per packing instructions and customer requirements. Ensure all paperwork is included in the product, boxed properly and palletized
  • Review daily data collection from test and assembly stations. Isolate and react to failures and trends, stop production or shipment if such trends affect the quality of the product
  • Perform internal Quality Audits
  • Other duties may be assigned
Requirements:
  • US citizenship, due to the nature of the work and contract requirement
  • Ability to obtain an DoD SECRET security clearance, due to contract requirement
  • Associate degree (A. A.) or other degree from two-year College or technical school or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience related experience and/or training
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and customer specifications
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Ability to solve practical problems and work on multiple issues concurrently
  • Computer literacy and knowledgeable of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications preferred:
    • Certified Quality Auditor
    • Certified Quality Technician
    • IPC-610
    • IPC-620
