Tier 1 PC Technical Support Specialist

As a Tier 1 PC Technical Support Specialist at Tanger Outlets, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance with their desktop computer systems, peripheral hardware, and software. Your primary responsibility will be to provide timely and effective support to resolve technical issues, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with desktop computer systems, hardware, and software
- Install, configure, and test PC hardware and software applications
- Perform routine maintenance on systems and equipment
- Document and track customer issues and resolutions in ticketing software
- Collaborate with Tier II Support Techs, Helpdesk Director, Network Team, and Development Team to resolve complex technical issues
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience in technical support or a related field
- Strong technical knowledge of PC hardware, software, and networking fundamentals
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
